Liquid Catering celebrates new downtown showroom
Greenville, S.C. – Liquid Catering’s “One Night Only” brought out more than 200 guests for this specialty catering company’s grand opening of its downtown showroom.
“We are very pleased with the response to this event,” said Tammy Johnson’s, Liquid Catering’s president and owner. “This shows that the Upstate understands what our business is about and has embraced this concept.”
Johnson opened Liquid Catering in the winter of 2011 as the Upstate’s first bartending only catering and event planning company. In the past three months, her firm renovated a former auto body shop located at 116 East Broad Street into corporate offices and show room. That work included repainting all of the walls, scrubbing and then clear coating the floors, redoing all of the landscaping, putting in offices and supply closets, installing shelves and finally creating a signature wall area decorated with wine corks.
Pictures from this transformation process were shown on screens during the event that featured catering by Tim Holmes Catering, Good Life Catering Company, ICED - the upstate cupcake cafe, Yia yia's "at night" and Table 301. DJ FWB entertained the guests while cocktails were provided by ABSOLUT Vodka, Dark Corner Distillery, RJ Rockers and Jacobs Creek Winery.
