Four Nexsen Pruet Attorneys Named to Greenville’s “Legal Elite”

Nexsen Pruet attorneys William W. "Billy" Wilkins, David Gossett, John Hardaway and Tom Stephenson have been named to the list of Greenville’s “Legal Elite” for 2012. Wilkins is recognized in the Government Affairs and Criminal Law category, Gossett in Banking and Finance, Hardaway in Intellectual Property and Stephenson in Labor and Employment Law.

Greenville Business Magazine named a total of 95 Upstate lawyers to this inaugural list and the magazine will honor them at a reception on August 16 at High Cotton.

In its first-ever survey, the magazine sent emails to 850 Greenville-area lawyers and asked them who, in their opinions, were the best lawyers in 20 practice areas. Respondents could nominate lawyers in their firms, but for each in-firm lawyer there had to be an out-of-firm lawyer nominated, although not necessarily in the same practice area.

Nexsen Pruet, LLC is one of the largest law firms in the Carolinas, with more than 185 attorneys and offices in Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, Hilton Head, and Myrtle Beach, S.C. as well as Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh, N.C. Founded in 1945, Nexsen Pruet provides a broad range of legal services to the business community and represents companies and other entities in local, state, national, and international venues.
