A CONVERSATION ON MINORITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Dr. John Sibley Butler
Executive Director, Institute for Creativity and Collaboration

John Sibley Butler is the director of both the Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship and the Institute for Innovation and Creativity (IC2) at the University of Texas in Austin. The IC2 is an internationally recognized “think and do” tank devoted to solving unstructured problems to accelerate wealth, job creation and prosperity. Dr. Butler’s research is in the areas of new ventures, immigrant and minority entrepreneurship, and organizational behavior and entrepreneurship.

His books include Entrepreneurship and Self-Help Among Black Americans:
A Reconsideration of Race and Economics, Immigrant and Minority Entrepreneurship,
All That We Can Be: Black Leadership, and Racial Integration the Army Way.

Professor Butler has appeared on over 30 radio and television programs. His research has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, US News and World Report and other newspapers and magazines across America.
