ACS 7.0 offers Clients ADVANCED options for Managing member and financial data

FLORENCE, SC, September 23, 2004—ACS Technologies (www.acstechnologies.com),
the leading information management solution provider for churches, schools and
faith-based organizations, announces the latest release of its church
management software ACS 7.0. The new features found in ACS 7.0 further ensure
that ACS Technologies' clients have the best tools available for managing
critical information about their people and financials.

''More than 500 of our clients were involved in determining the added features
this year,'' says Hal Campbell, CEO and President of ACS Technologies. ''We've
learned over the years that our clients are our best resource for features that
make ACS easier to use and more useful for reaching their congregations. This
is especially true when it comes to making the product intuitive. Many of this
year's enhancements are improving the user friendliness of our product.''

''Many of the significant enhancements in the people management programs deal
with communication using email and the Internet. We've also made it easier for
our clients to backup their data and connect with our new product,
www.Livestor.com. This exciting new product allows our clients to schedule data
backups and then automatically send that backup to our servers for safe storage
off-site. This will protect our clients' data in case of a fire, hurricane,
tornado or vandalism,'' adds Campbell.

New features were also made to the search/query program and the label printing,
reporting, and attendance-marking features. In addition, sharing ACS data with
other products such as Excel, Access and Word is now even more efficient.

The ACS accounting products also have many new features in this year's
release. Each enhancement was generated as a result of client requests and has
been incorporated because it makes ACS easier to use. Some examples of added
functionality include the expansion of the project accounting functionality,
additional tools for budgeting, improvements to check reconciliation, an
automatic fund balancing feature when crossing funds, and more reporting. All
of the accounting modules have enhancements this year.

The Organizations module, designed for regional and denominational offices,
also includes significant changes this year. Most changes increase usability
based on feedback from clients, such as the addition of new user defined
fields, improved integration with the People module, and added reporting
capabilities. Denominational offices are turning to ACS Technologies more
often for solutions for their own offices and for connecting the denominational
office to the local church.

Because of enhancements to the overall security system of ACS 7.0, churches now
have even more control over who has access to their information. The improved
security ensures that information stored in all ACS modules is even safer than
in previous versions.

New ACS 7.0 user Debi Baker of First Baptist Church of Stuart, FL praised the
new version, saying ''We just loaded the 7.0 update, and I am so pleased! The
new update has made my job so much more efficient! Our administrator is glad to
see us excited and happy. Thanks for all the hard work and hours that must have
gone into this update. You truly do listen to your clients, and we appreciate
you.''

''Hearing a client say good things about 7.0 is music to our ears'' says Rebekah
Gibbs, Senior Development Coordinator. ''All year long we ask for enhancement
requests from our clients. We collect these requests and improve the software
based on this client feedback. This ensures we do what they need, not what we
think they need. It's a practical way we demonstrate our dedication to empower
their vision with the software we develop.''
