ACS TECHNOLOGIES OFFERS MORE FUNCTIONALITY FOR LAY LEADERS AND ORGANIZATION
STAFF WITH ACCESS ACS

Access ACS Now Allows Leaders to Track Attendance and Survey Member Statistics

FLORENCE, SC, August 24, 2004—ACS Technologies (http://www.acstechnologies.com
), the leading provider of management software for churches, private schools,
and other faith-based organizations, is meeting clients' needs by releasing an
updated version of Access ACS, the online companion to the popular software ACS
People Suite. This latest version of Access ACS allows leaders to mark
attendance, which helps distribute responsibility among ministry leaders. It
also includes a new membership statistics feature that interprets a church's
member data for reporting to associations, dioceses, and conventions.

Churches are beginning to recognize the valuable, infinite resource that is the
Internet. According to the PEW Internet and Life Project, the Web has become a
vital force in many faith communities and 56% of congregations are using it for
internal communications.

''We're incorporating more Web-based features that will help keep leaders
connected to their group members and ministries connected to their causes,''
says Hal Campbell, President and CEO of ACS Technologies.

''Clients frequently requested the ability to allow leaders to track attendance
online,'' says Cindy Streett, Product Manager for ACS Technologies. ''Access ACS
now allows leaders and staff to mark attendance from anywhere they have
Internet access and at any time.''

Access ACS makes it easy for leaders to build group rosters, access group
information instantly, and mark attendance for a particular event and date.
Because small groups are becoming such a popular way for churches to strengthen
their coӪmmunities, Access ACS is an easy way to manage these groups and keep
their members connected.

In addition to the attendance feature, the new Access ACS statistics tab
summarizes a church's member data in a user-friendly format that includes
easy-to-read charts and graphs. With this new statistics tab, churches using
Access ACS can assign a login to their organizations (associations,
conventions, diocese, etc.) so that those organizations can easily access some
of the church's summarized data, allowing the church to keep its individual
information private. This is a first step in the plans to include a way for
churches to get summarized data to their organizations.

Originally launched in 2002, Access ACS is an extension of the popular People
Suite software, an ACS database that helps organizations manage information
about their members including donor activity, track and coordinate people and
program participation, and centralize and simplify communications. Access ACS
was created in an effort to allow greater mobility and efficiency within
ministries, by letting members manage their own data and leaders manage their
own groups. With Access ACS, clients can view key ACS data anywhere they can
access the Internet.

Using Access ACS in conjunction with the ACS People Suite Software can increase
overall organizational productivity and information accessibility. For more
