Access ACS Offers the Ability to Update Member Information Over the Internet

FLORENCE, SC, November 17, 2003—ACS Technologies (http://

software program that allows users to view and edit record information over the
internet. Formerly called ViewACS, Access ACS works along side ACS to provide
churches, ministries, and faith-based organizations with the ability to access
important membership information over the internet. With these new
enhancements, organizations will now be able to update and make changes to
member information online in addition to viewing data online from any internet
connection.

Access ACS features provide users with the ability to update records over the
internet. Changes can be made to all personal membership data within ACS such
as changes to names, address, phone numbers, and emails. When a user makes
changes, they are submitted immediately to the church administrator and stored
until the administrator reviews the changes and approves or denies them by
clicking a simple-to-use check box. Once the administrator accepts these
changes, the changes are made throughout the entire ACS database, creating one
unified data record for each contact.
