CMARK Announces 400 Percent Growth in Bookings for First Quarter of 2007
COLUMBIA, S.C., April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CMARK International Inc. , a leading Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) provider of products and services to the federal government institutions and facilities, is pleased to announce a sweeping growth of 400 percent in the number of new sales orders placed during the first quarter of 2007 as compared to the same period last year.
Bookings for the first quarter of 2007 exceeded $3,100,000, approximately 5 times the new orders of approximately $600,000 booked during the first quarter of 2006. Moreover, the 2007 first quarter's bookings were approximately 3 times the bookings of approximately $1,000,000 in the last quarter of 2006.
Charles Jones, Jr., company CEO indicates the company attributes this remarkable, and what it feels to be sustainable growth to the success and continuing development of a new business model implemented early last year wherein the company went through an extensive geographical and organizational expansion, as well as adjusting its focus after a substantial effort and use of resources during the hurricane Katrina recovery operations in late 2005.
CMARK, which primarily focuses on facility and logistical support for U.S. Government Institutions worldwide, now has six functional offices in the continental United States, has expanded its overseas servicing capabilities in England, Germany, and Okinawa, Japan and has substantially increased its engineering, sales, and marketing staff. Further, the company has been optimizing its product offering through new strategic alliances, an increase in private labeling and co-branding, and expanding its product offering into new marketplaces such as the maritime marketplace and substantially more sales to U.S. forces in the Mideast.
