COLUMBIA, S.C. - April 17, 2001 - The Columbia Information Technology Council
(ITC) today announced that Covad Business Solutions has joined the organization
as its first Platinum Sponsor, the highest level available.
As the first company to join at the Platinum level, Covad Business Solutions
demonstrates a high level of confidence in the mission of the ITC, said Ike
McLeese, president of the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce. Covad's support
will strengthen our efforts to promote Columbia as an attractive location for
IT companies.
