Craig Hearon Named Chief Operating Officer of ACS Technologies
FLORENCE, SC, July 12, 2004Billy Campbell, chairman of the board, and Hal
Campbell, president and chief executive officer of ACS Technologies, today
announce the appointment of Craig Hearon to the position of chief operating
officer. Each year, ACS Technologies continues to experience unprecedented
growth in number of clients served, employee base, new software programs and
even through the expansion of their corporate campus. As a result of this
growth and in order to sustain it, the role of chief operating officer was
created.

According to President and Chief Executive Officer, Hal Campbell, ''Craig's work
with us to date made him the most qualified candidate for chief operating

through his leadership, Craig will take ACS Technologies' operations to the
next level, helping us continue to serve our clients even better.''
Serving ACS Technologies since 1998 and in the position of chief financial
officer since 2000, Hearon has played a key role in the company's consistent
upward growth. His most recent accomplishment includes managing the completion
of the company's new 32,400 square foot Research and Technology Center. In
addition, Hearon is on the company's merger and acquisition strategies team,
whose recent accomplishments include a merger with Parish Data System and an
alliance with the North American Mission Board.
Hearon will continue in his current position as chief financial officer and
will now serve in that capacity in addition to his chief operating officer
duties. As the chief operating officer, Hearon will assume responsibilities for
the corporate planning process of the company and work across the company to
ensure the implementation of those plans.

Prior to joining ACS Technologies, Hearon served as director of human resources
for McLeod Regional Medical Center, senior vice president of human resources
and corporate treasurer for TranSouth Financial Services, and an equity analyst
in the investment division at Liberty Life Insurance Company. Hearon currently
serves as chairman of the board of the Florence Salvation Army and has held
past positions on the Florence Chamber of Commerce board. He was president of
the Pee Dee Kiwanis Club, president of Florence Big Brothers and Big Sisters,
ambassador of South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, and board member of the
Daniel Management Center at the University of South Carolina. Hearon holds a
B.A. in Social Sciences from Limestone College, a MBA in Finance from Winthrop
University, and is an active member at St. John's Episcopal Church in Florence,
South Carolina. He is married with two daughters.
