Finalists Announced for ITC Palmetto Pillar Awards
COLUMBIA, S.C.—April 9, 2003—The Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce
Information Technology Council (ITC) is proud to announce today the finalists
in six categories for the 2nd Annual Palmetto Pillar Awards. The finalists, all

"This is the second year that the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce's
Information Technology Council has sponsored the Palmetto Pillar Awards,'' says
Ike McLeese, chamber president. ''We are very pleased at the tremendous response
we received from the six Midlands counties. This indicates that our region is
on its way to truly becoming a technology center."
Designed to publicly recognize individuals and organizations spearheading
technology achievement in the Midlands, the awards provide support to
technology innovators and promote technology growth in the Midlands business
community. Award winners in each category will be announced on May 8 at the
Palmetto Pillar Awards Ceremony, which will be held at the Capital City Club in
downtown Columbia.
