Henderson Advertising Acquires Mainline Marketing Communications


Local Firms Join Forces to Service National Advertising and PR Clients

(Greenville, S.C.) - Henderson Advertising - the first agency in the South to
gain national recognition -- has acquired Mainline Marketing Communications, a
local public relations firm, allowing the companies to join forces in the
servicing of local, regional and national accounts. "Mainline not only brings a
depth of public relations experience but also an existing client roster and
public relations leadership to Henderson," said Ralph Callahan, President and
CEO of Henderson.

"Henderson has outsourced various public relations activities to Mainline and
has observed their skills first-hand. During conversations we discussed various
working relationships and concluded that the timing was right to join forces, "
Callahan said.

Mainline Marketing Communications Inc., launched in 1997 by Kristie Bohm, today
represents a number of technology and sporting goods companies including QS/1
Network Solutions Group, ProActive Technology, Associated Systems Inc.,
Slazenger Golf Products and others. "We have always kept an eye on Mainline's
growth and recognized that merging a firm of this caliber into Henderson
Advertising was an advantageous business decision," Callahan said.

During Mainline's six-year history, the company grew from a one-person
operation to a half dozen executives in 2002. Bohm, who is accredited by the
Public Relations Society of America, will assume the role of Vice President,
Managing Director of Henderson PR.

Mainline staffers will move into the Henderson Advertising offices in October
and exchange the Mainline name for Henderson PR. "The growth record of this PR
firm bodes well for Henderson's future in this marketplace," said Callahan. "We
expect our shared entrepreneurial cultures to immediately serve our current
clients and to bring innovation to benefit future clientele," Callahan said.

communications programs to our clients and I'm eager to join with Henderson
because it enables us to provide broader skills and specialized services to

Henderson PR Group will provide strategic public relations planning, media
training, news media relations, community relations, internal communications
and other corporate communications functions for customers. "With the
acquisition of the PR group, Henderson will continue to broaden our client
base," Callahan said.
