Competing successfully in today’s Global Marketplace is extremely challenging. Dynamic situations exist with competitors, consumers, laws, and many other elements that affect the marketplace. Virtually all companies in Upstate South Carolina are affected by competition in the global marketplace. Representatives from Capsugel will discuss initiatives underway at their company and will participate in a panel discussion relating to competing in today’s Global Marketplace. The forum will also include a plant tour.

Driving directions from Greenville:
Follow US 25 to Greenwood. Approximately 70 miles total.
After arriving in Greenwood on US 25, proceed to the traffic light at the
intersection of US 25 and the SC 72 Bypass. (At this intersection you will see
Cross Creek Shopping Mall on the right and K-mart on the left.) Turn left at this
intersection onto SC 72 Bypass. Proceed about 3-4 miles to the traffic light at
the intersection of SC 72 bypass and Emerald Road. (Look for a BiLo at this
intersection.) Turn left onto North Emerald Road and proceed for 1 mile;
Capsugel’s manufacturing plant will be on the left (across from Piedmont
Technical College).
Networking Carpool:
With gasoline prices and demands, think about networking on the drive to Greenwood. The Point has ample parking and would be convenient, as would other parking lots along Augusta and Mauldin Roads near I-85.
