Asheville, NC (September 5, 2007) — Asheville, North Carolina-based Lab Escape has recently hired Karen Banker as Vice President of Business Development. Banker will stay in the Charlotte market to be closer to the potential client base in the 2nd largest financial center in the United States.

Banker has successfully led multiple Fortune 500 firms and emerging growth stage companies into new markets, specializing in new product/service launches, market definition, messaging and positioning along with overall sales and marketing strategies and implementation.

Karen is a veteran of several Charlotte based technology service providers. Banker worked for such companies as MindBlazer, Parks Consulting and Exervio. Banker also started the Dayton Business Journal based in Dayton, Ohio. This publication was later acquired by the American City Business Journals based in Charlotte, NC.
