Leadership Columbia applications due-June 13th
If you want your community to be more than a place where you work and live,
consider Leadership Columbia.
Sponsored by the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, this program helps
existing and emerging leaders better understand how our community works, build
relationships with the region's current and future leaders and become inspired
to focus talents in a way that will best serve the community.
Approximately 1,500 of the Midland's most effective leaders have graduated from
the program since its inception over 30 years ago. Past participants include
The Honorable Justice Jean Toal, Tameika Isaac Devine, Barbara Rackes, Charles
Dickerson, and Judy Gatson.
For one full day a month, Leadership Columbia offers a program where local
leaders in business, government, education, environmental issues, community
development, health and human services, and the arts and culture arenas share
their knowledge through lively discussions and activities that highlight real
situations, needs and opportunities within the Riverbanks region.
To learn more about Leadership Columbia and to apply online, visit our website
