Local Consultant Helps NC County Get $400,000 Grand
Janet Christy of Leverage & Development LLC recently helped Anson County North Carolina develop a successful grant request. The County’s New Business Ventures Development Center has been awarded a $400,000 grant from the e-NC Authority.
The New Business Ventures Development Center is a combination incubator and support center for small businesses in Anson County and neighboring Union County.
Leverage & Development, LLC helped the County qualify for the grant by conducting research to determine the needs of small businesses and developing a business and operations plan for the Center.
The e-NC Authority is part of the North Carolina Rural Economic Development Center.
Leverage & Development, LLC works with government, education and non-profit entities in grant writing and entrepreneur and economic development projects. The firm also does marketing research, planning and training for Woman and Minority Owned Businesses.
