Local Women Business Owners to Speak at Meeting in Charlotte

Three local women have been chosen to participate as speakers in the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) University on Woman Owned Certification in Charlotte, NC on March 16.

Janet Christy, President of Leverage & Development, LLC, will speak on the advantages of being certified as a Woman Owned Business. Christy provides consulting and training to small, woman and minority owned businesses. She also works with government and economic development entities on entrepreneurial development.

Susan Linsley, Owner of Endless Ideas, LLC, and Suzanne Childs, Owner of Childs Architecture, will take part in a panel discussion on the benefits being certified has provided for them.

Endless Ideas is located in Powdersville and offers advertising specialty products to help businesses, government agencies and organizations gain name and brand recognition. The firm also provides customized consulting on effective use of promotional items.

Childs Architecture provides planning and design services for office, retail, distribution, institutional, and medical facilities. Their office is located on Vardry Street in Greenville, SC.
