based in Greenville, SC, is launching NewArea, a service offering an expanded
local calling area at no additional charge. NewArea, which is the Company's new
standard local calling plan, allows customers to make unlimited calls without
having to pay toll calls for intraLATA traffic within the expanded area.
Extended NewArea, an additional feature of the NewArea service, benefits
customers who frequently place calls beyond the basic NewArea footprint. With
Extended NewArea customers can make unlimited LATA-wide calls for a minimal
monthly charge. Both NewArea and Extended NewArea control long distance costs
and provide the convenience and simplicity of one bill.
