Noro-Moseley Partners Announces George Mackie as Venture Partner: Industry Veteran Adds Depth to Firm’s IT Expertise
ATLANTA, GA -- Noro-Moseley Partners (NMP), a leading Southeast venture capital firm focused on growing IT and healthcare companies, today announced that George Mackie will be joining the firm as a Venture Partner.
With an impressive track record in building and delivering high-availability transaction software, as well as tech-enabled business service solutions, Mr. Mackie, current Chairman of performance management company Insource Contract Services and past founder and CEO of DBS Systems, the high-growth customer care and billing software platform for DirectTV, adds depth to Noro-Moseley’s operational expertise across a number of technology sectors. In his Venture Partner role, Mr. Mackie will play an active role in reviewing investment opportunities and in working with entrepreneurs to create and manage high growth.

In addition to Insource and DBS Systems, Mr. Mackie was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with North Carolina based Wakefield Group, where he was involved in co-investing in multiple deals and served as a Director on several boards, including his role as interim CEO, and ultimately, Chairman, of Bloodhound Software.
