NuVox Communications' Fast Track Program Gives Broadslate's Customers an Option
for Quick Transition of Service
Business Editors
GREENVILLE, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 1, 2002--To assist Broadslate
Communications customers in several southeastern cities whose services from
Broadslate will end March 15, NuVox Communications said today that its Fast
Track program is available to enable these customers to effect a speedy
transition of service to NuVox's network and facilities.
With Fast Track, Broadslate's customers can minimize or avoid any service
disruption following Broadslate's decision to cease operations in these cities.
NuVox, a rapidly growing, facilities-based provider of integrated local,
long distance, Internet, and data communications services, developed its Fast
Track program to help businesses effect a seamless transition of their voice
and data services when their current provider decides to curtail its operations
in their market. Broadslate and NuVox have concluded a cooperative arrangement
to help Broadslate's customers transition their service in these cities:
Anderson, SC; Charleston, SC; Charlotte, NC: Columbia, SC; Greenville, SC;
Jacksonville, FL; Knoxville, TN; Nashville, TN; Raleigh, NC; and Spartanburg,
SC.
"The purpose of creating Fast Track is to move quickly on behalf of these
customers, avoiding down time if possible or keeping it to an absolute
minimum," said Mike Morey, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for
NuVox. "The services these customers are receiving are critical to their
success, so having a fast option to switch to an alternative provider is very
important."
Through Fast Track, Broadslate's customers can transition to NuVox's
high-speed, dedicated Internet access and will also have the opportunity to
subscribe for NuVox's comprehensive suite of other communications services.
Highly qualified NuVox technical consultants and account executives will work
with Broadslate's customers to rapidly transition their Internet access and to
identify their other current and anticipated telecommunications needs. NuVox
offers its business customers the convenience of obtaining all of their
communications needs from one, cost-effective source and receiving a single
consolidated monthly bill.
Fast Track customers can select from NuVox's wide range of voice, data, and
Internet services, including high-speed Internet access, local and long
distance telephone service, Web page hosting and design, and much more. They
can choose the services best suited for them a la carte or bundled in a
cost-effective package. Fast Track features attractive term discounts, special
installation rates, and satisfaction guarantees that maximize for the customer
the value of these NuVox services. NuVox's customers also benefit from 24X7
