New service empowers customers o manage communications and Web experience
St. Louis, MO (April 2, 2002) - Providing a valuable and distinctive new tool
for its customers, NuVox Communications, a rapidly growing provider of
integrated local, long distance, Internet, and data communications services,
announced today the launch of its NuVox Power Center (NPC).
The NuVox Power Center is a convenient resource for NuVox customers, providing
access to their account information, customer service, news and information,
and customizable applications. The NPC is a combination of a traditional portal
site - which offers general news content and search capability - and NuVox's
comprehensive, customer-focused Support Center, which provides a full suite of
online support and management services.

from their providers, and an increased understanding of those services. The
NuVox Power Center brings to life such Web care, facilitating solutions to
customer inquiries and providing that desired customer control.

Another valuable component of the NuVox Power Center is My Mail, NuVox's
Web-based e-mail application. Through My Mail, customers can access their
e-mail anytime, anywhere. This capability is extremely useful to customers that
are highly mobile and constantly on the go.
Several applications on the NuVox Power Center give customers the ability to
personalize important information. With My Portfolio, they can create and track
their own customized stock portfolio, while My Calendar empowers them to track
daily, monthly, and yearly schedules online. Additionally, My Weather provides
detailed weather reports for the city of their choice.
