GREENVILLE, SC – July 30, 2007 – ScanSource, Inc., (Nasdaq: SCSC), a leading international value-added distributor of specialty technology products, has hired Gerry Lyons as Vice President - Corporate Controller, where he is responsible for guiding the efficient operation of the accounting function, assisting management with corporate initiatives through the delivery of concrete financial metrics, as well as the strategic direction of the accounting team.
Lyons brings more than 18 years of financial management and general management experience to this position, having worked with Moen Incorporated as a plant controller, global group controller and plant manager and with Cooper Industries, where he served in various accounting and financial management positions.

Lyons received his MBA from Cleveland State University and a BS in Finance from Clemson University. He has relocated to Greenville with his wife Claire and their seven children.
