TetraData and VC3 partner to offer enhanced solution for managing student
performance data
(GREENVILLE, SC AND COLUMBIA, SC) TetraData Corporation and VC3 Inc. announced
today they will partner to collectively market two best-of-breed education
technology solutions – TetraData on Demand™, an extract, transform and load
(ETL tool) designed specifically for education data, and TestView™, an
Internet-based software solution allowing users to track, chart and manage
student performance data. Pairing the two solutions will provide educators a
quick, easy way to integrate standardized test scores with demographic data –
backed by robust data warehousing and data movement capabilities.
''TestView complements the broad and extensive data-driven decision making
capabilities of TetraData's products and services, namely our industry-leading
data warehousing, data analysis, reporting and data management solutions for

TestView offers educators the ability to run and save reports on student data
for key decision making and curriculum planning. Features include the ability
to import student data from student information systems, as well as
standardized test score data as soon as it is received from testing centers;
manage student groups; automatically generate academic plans for at-risk or all
students; and filter reports by AYP criteria for NCLB.
Data gathered by TestView can be moved in ''near real time'' into existing data
warehouses with TetraData on Demand. A nightly batch process updates a data
warehouse with additions, changes or corrections to its demographic and
scheduling data. The data warehouse does not have to be rebuilt or taken
offline for the batch procedure to extract, transform and load updated data
into it. In essence, students entering a district can be placed in the data
warehouse the next day, as can any corrections to data that may have been
entered for students already in a district at the time the warehouse was
constructed. TetraData on Demand updates, replaces and deletes demographic and
schedule data ''on-the-fly'' making it ready for analysis the next day.
