5th Annual Statewide Transportation Research and Curriculum Needs Conference
The James E. Clyburn University Transportation Center to sponsor the fifth annual statewide transportation research and curriculum needs conference
ORANGEBURG, SC — The James E. Clyburn University Transportation Center invites all university professors, students, researchers, federal, state, and local transportation officials and employees, and private sector transportation professionals to join them at the 5th Annual Statewide Transportation Research and Curriculum Needs Conference, December 1-2, 2005, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Columbia, S.C.
The conference is a way to identify rural transit needs as it relates to research, curriculum, training, and security, and will focus on involving South Carolina Colleges and Universities in research and curriculum development.
Representatives from several state and federal agencies including the United States Federal Railroad Administration, the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), the United States Coast Guard, and the United States Department of Transportation, will serve as panelists and will make presentations.
