Thinking is visual and computational creativity

This message announces the 2007 Conference on Visual and Computational Teaching and Learning, to be held in Charleston, SC on 16-18 November: http://www.cofc.edu/~thinking
The conference is for college educators to discover and discuss new ways to combine creatively computer modeling and visualization with other liberal arts disciplines. The keynote speakers are Mark Guzdial and Joel Slayton who will address the synthesis of computer science and culture. The conference will offer papers on pedagogy and theory, and host workshops that highlight applications in the classroom.
Please consider presenting a paper or hosting a workshop. We are today issuing a call for abstracts, due July 1, at the conference website: http://www.cofc.edu/~thinking .
We also invite your attendance and will provide registration facilities on the website in August.
