Two North Carolina Counties, Union and Anson, have tapped a local consulting
firm, Leverage & Development, LLC to develop a Business and Operations Plan for
their entrepreneur incubators.

The incubators were established last year with a grant from the E-NC
organization, a grassroots initiative to help all North Carolinians -
especially those in rural areas – use technology and the Internet to improve
their personal and professional lives.

Leverage & Development, LLC will conduct research on the needs of entrepreneurs
and micro-businesses, the resources currently available and the ''most likely to
succeed'' types of businesses for the area. The firm will use the research to
develop a Plan for the incubators that will include operations, funding and
promotion.

Leverage & Development, LLC works with government, education and non-profit
entities in grant writing, economic development projects and vendor negotiation.
The firm also does training, research and marketing planning for Woman Owned
Business and Minority Owned Business.
