PMBA Preview Highlights Business Program
Spartanburg, S.C. -- The University of South Carolina Professional Master of Business Administration Program will host an information session, the PMBA Preview, on Tuesday, March 28 on the USC Upstate campus.
This preview session is designed to give prospective students an overview of the program, including information about the admission process, curriculum and logistics. Speakers will include the director of the program, Dr. Tom Madden, and a current student or a graduate of the program.
According to the PMBA brochure, this program began in 1970 when the Moore School of Business at USC "pioneered the concept of providing an MBA for professionals by offering classes at the Columbia campus and statewide."
This internationally ranked school offers the chance for students to get a quality education at their own pace. Classes are broadcast from Columbia to more than 20 locations around the state. The PMBA program also offers streaming video so students can view classes after broadcast.
The U.S. News & World Report ranks the Moore School of Business as #1 in the nation among public business schools for international graduate business education, and #2 among all business schools. In addition, the Financial Times of London has consistently ranked the Moore School in the top 100 MBA programs in the world.
PMBA Preview sessions will also be held at other USC locations across the state, at USC Beaufort South on March 30, USC Columbia on April 11, USC Aiken on April 18, and the University Center in Greenville on April 20.
This event is free and open to prospective students. Check in begins at 5:00 p.m. and the session will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. in the University Readiness Center Great Room.
