A Future-Focused Discussion About Globalization's Impact on the Upstate
Presented by the Leadership Development Division of the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce, the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce and USC Upstate
Featured speaker Erik Peterson is senior vice president of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a nonprofit, non-partisan think tank based in Washington, D.C. He is also director of the CSIS Global Strategy Institute and oversees the “Seven Revolutions Initiative,” an internationally recognized effort to identify and project global trends out to the year 2025. He will be speaking on the realities of globalization in today’s economy.
Panelists will include Dr. Andrew A. Sorensen, president of the University of South Carolina, Sky Foster of BMW and Bern McPheely of Har tness International. The Honorable William Barnet III, mayor of Spartanburg, will serve as moderator.
Registration will begin at 3:45 p.m. and the program will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. A reception will follow. There is no cost to attend.
