Schedules Public Event to Commemorate Historic Day

WHAT: To mark its inaugural delivery of the world’s first all-composite aft fuselage for a commercial airliner, Vought Aircraft Industries has scheduled a public rollout of barrels 47 and 48. These two sections for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner represent 23 percent of the airplane’s entire fuselage structure.
Vought’s 787 Division Vice President Ted Perdue will speak at the event and be available for questions immediately following his remarks.
