We're ready!

There's 639 people registered to attend InnoVenture 2007 as of this evening. Everyone can see an online profile of everyone else attending, creating an online Swamp Fox Community. Swamp Fox uncovers and connects extraordinarily talented people across diverse organizations, disciplines, and geographies to create and explosion of rewarding relationships. That sounds like marketing hype until you see the extraordinarily talented people registered to attend.

There are 288 different organizations represented, including 25 investment firms. About a third of those attending are from major corporations and universities. About a third are entrepreneurs and investors. And the rest are from service providers and support organizations.

Roughly half the people attending are from the Upstate of South Carolina, and the rest are primarily from elsewhere in the Carolinas and Georgia, though there will be people attending from 17 different states.

There are over 40 exhibits in the Innovation Hall, and over 30 presentations on the agenda from major corporations like Michelin, Milliken and GE, to universities like Clemson, USC and MUSC, to start-up entrepreneurs.

There are a few last minute details on Monday, then we'll rock the Carolina First Center on Greenville on Tuesday.

Sparks will fly!

See you there
